I took a few last shots as we went over the Pacheco Pass by the San Luis Reservoir. Here is today’s travel and the whole trip. 1038 miles over 5 days.

I would strongly encourage vintage car road trip with your dog. If you can pick up an old friend along the way to join you, even better. I am tired, but a good tired. A car you love is a joy indeed.

That’s actually the first time I’ve ever seen the Sunchaser with the top even partially on, and I dig it. Definitely one of my favorite Oppo cars.

The Pacheco Pass is my favorite way of getting from Gilroy to SoCal or vice versa. There’s usually little traffic and lots of great views. Never did stop to appreciate its beauty.

Going to take the Miata up that way in two weeks for a cousin’s wedding.
